Rock Creek Parkway reopens after tractor trailer stuck in overpass

WASHINGTON — All northbound lanes of the Rock Creek Parkway have reopened after a tractor trailer got stuck in an overpass.

Park police helped remove the truck.

EARLIER: 12:57 p.m., July 6, 2015

WASHINGTON – A tractor trailer got stuck driving through an overpass on Rock Creek Parkway Monday morning, causing lane closures in D.C.

The northbound lanes of Rock Creek Parkway are blocked before the Kennedy Center because the tractor trailer is stuck in the right lane.

Commuters must divert to the E Street Expressway, which will take you to the Whitehurst Freeway.

No injuries have been reported.
