The dollar coins
Reach into your pocket and grasp the coins you have there. Without looking, you can feel the different denominations. Until you hold a quarter and a dollar. Very, very little difference. Our aging population has trouble telling the differences due to naturally diminishing senses. The dollar coin should have been made larger and heavier to infer at least the image of a sound fiscal system. These dollar coins are a perfect example of typical "design by committee" wherein every aspect of their development was a compromise. And as such, another failed government project.
