Fatal accident occurs overnight in Oxon Hill

WASHINGTON — A fatal accident occurred early Sunday morning in Prince George’s County. It happened around 1:20 a.m. on Oxon Hill and Livingston Roads near the Livingston Square Shopping Center.

According to Officer Harry Bond of Prince George’s County Police, a man was driving down Oxon Hill Road when he lost control of his car causing it to roll over three times. The man was then ejected from the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have shut down Oxon Hill road in both directions between Livingston and Old Fort Roads. Authorities remain on the scene investigating what caused the crash.
