Prostitution linked to Fairfax massage parlor

WASHINGTON –Four prostitution busts in Fairfax County, Va., have been linked back to one local woman.

Qiuxiang Liu is the owner of a massage company called “Sunshine Therapy,” but police say the therapists were offering more than just massages.

In 2009, several employees were charged with prostitution. Three years later, police busted an apartment and another Sunshine Therapy location. Last month, an undercover police detective — posing as a client — responded to an online ad for an escort service at another Falls Church apartment where a woman offered money for sex.

Liu is the leaseholder for all four locations.

NBC4 reports she was arrested and charged with prostitution and residing in a bawdy place. Police seized cell phones and computer hard drives.

She is scheduled for a hearing next month.
