5 people dead after Las Vegas restaurant shooting

WASHINGTON — At least five people are dead after a series of shootings at two Las Vegas restaurants on Sunday, according to news reports.

WKLS reports that a man and woman shot two police officers at a Cici’s Pizza before going to a nearby Wal-Mart and shooting themselves.

Both officers and a civilian are dead as well. The officers were wounded Sunday, according to KLAS-TV.

According to WKLS, the man and woman entered the Cici’s Pizza and pointed out two officers eating there. One person shot an officer in the head; the other person shot the other officer.

Then, according to witnesses, the shooters took the officers’ police gear and offered an ominous message: “Tell the police the revolution has begun,” they said, according to KLAS.

From there, the shooters walked into a nearby Wal-Mart, where they both died.
