Walter Isaacson to speak at publishing convention

NEW YORK (AP) — The author of best-selling biographies about Steve Jobs and Benjamin Franklin will give the keynote speech next week at the annual publishing convention in New York City.

BookExpo America organizers announced Monday that Walter Isaacson will speak Friday, May 30. He will discuss his upcoming book, “The Innovators,” in which he writes about creativity in the digital age.

Tens of thousands are expected to attend BookExpo America next week at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
