Bethesda’s street festival for children is set for its 20th year with the Saturday, June 7 celebration of Imagination Bethesda.
The event — organized by the Bethesda Urban Partnership — will bring 25 local businesses and arts organizations to Woodmont Triangle to provide children’s arts and crafts, music, face painters, balloonists, giveaways and an ever popular stilt-walker.
BGR The Burger Joint, Haagen-Daza, Hard Time Cafe, Naked Pizza and Smoothie King will also take part.
Activities include planting a flower pot, painting ceramic tile and making your own comic book from institutions such as Strathmore, Round House Theatre and Imagination Stage. There will also be six performances on a Woodmont Triangle stage, including from Bethesda’s Dansez!Dansez! studio.
Imagination Bethesda runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Auburn and Norfolk Avenues. For more information, visit the event page.
