The new dining terrace and food court at Westfield Montgomery mall will open this summer, according to a Tuesday update on the project.
Westfield has created a redevelopment web page listing all the changes around the mall — some of which you’ve probably already noticed.
The mall finished a renovation of its interior hallways in November, with new flooring, marble columns, seating lounges and lighting. It also added a family lounge near the Sears entrance with baby changing stations, kids shows on a TV, toys and private nursing areas.
A larger family lounge will open as part of the Dining Terrace project, still under construction in the existing food court. Most of the design changes are evident but when the Dining Terrace opens this summer, the food court will have double its current seating capacity.
There will also be full service restaurants. Westfield announced a few weeks ago that one of those restaurants will be New York City’s Naples 45 Ristorante e Pizzeria.
The highlight of the new Dining Terrace is the new movie theater that will open on top of the parking garage adjacent to the food court. ArcLight Cinemas, a 16-screen, 2,400-seat luxury theater, is set to open in fall 2014.
Westfield again highlighted a video rendering of the Dining Terrace and ArcLight Cinemas entrance:
