2 simultaneous fires break out in Centreville

WASHINGTON — It was a busy Saturday night for Fairfax County firefighters. Two fires broke out at the same time in opposite ends of Centreville, Va.

One fire occurred at a townhouse and the other was at an assisted living facility on Cedar Key Landing. No one was hurt in the townhouse fire, but two people suffered minor injuries at the assisted-living facility.

Both fires are out, according to firefighters. Red Cross is now helping relocate two displaced families.
