Wallflowers, Zac Brown Band among big name concerts hitting the stage this weekend

WASHINGTON – This weekend in the D.C. area is a great time to catch a concerts as there are a variety of acts showcasing their talents.

Scheduled for Friday night at Wolf Trap, the Wallflowers perform in support of their new album, “Glad All Over.” The full album can be streamed for free here.

Also, Friday night at the 9:30 Club, indie- rockers Ra Ra Riot are scheduled to perform.

Saturday at the 9:30 Club, They Might Be Giants perform. In addition to building a devoted fan base since their inception in the ’80s, the band has released more than 20 albums, including three children’s albums.

Country-folk phenomenon Zac Brown Band is scheduled to perform Sunday at Jiffy Lube Live.

The band has scored an impressive nine No. 1 spots on the Billboard’s Top Country chart.
