WASHINGTON – When thinking of beautiful college campuses, one tends to think of the ivy-covered brick walls of Princeton, Yale and Harvard.
Concrete, steel and bunker-like buildings is not the ideal setting for college life.
Travel and Leisure magazine recently ranked the country’s ugliest campuses using reviews from public forums, Unigo.com and Princeton Review to compile its list.
They note that most of these less-than-attractive schools were designed and built in the modernism era of post-World War II era.
