Pumpkin Patch Pumpkins are pretty much ubiquitous with fall. They are fun to carve, delicious to eat and provide the perfect backdrop from a weekend getaway. Butler's Orchard in Germantown, Md., Cox Farms in Centreville, Va., and Gaver Pumpkin Patch in Mt. Airy, Md., are just a few options in the region.
