Virginia Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling describes the race for governor in Virginia as “disgusting.”

He spoke with WTOP and expressed his disappointment in the campaign between Republican Ken Cuccinelli and Democrat Terry McAuliffe.

“It’s pretty much just millions of dollars being spent on name calling and mudslinging that’s really not what the people of Virginia want or deserve,” he says.

Bolling says he considered running for governor as an independent, but at this point it’s too late for him to enter the race.
