A film discussion and sneak preview program called “Talk Cinema,” is coming to the Landmark Theatre at Bethesda Row starting in September.
The company, founded by movie critic Harlan Jacobson and his wife Susan, offers advanced screenings and discussions of current films with other critics, filmmakers and film teachers.
Starting on Sept. 21 and for nine more dates going into next year, Talk Cinema will host 10 a.m. Saturday screenings of movies before they are released.
Last year’s films included “Silver Linings Playbook,” “On The Road,” “Quartet,” and “The Attack.”
Passes to the entire 2013-2014 Talk Cinema series is $179 and general admission is $20 per person and $10 for students.
Landmark opened its remodeled Bethesda Row Cinema in May, complete with pre-reserved seating, a bar and new food options.
