Fairmont Demolition Almost Complete

The building at 4900 Fairmont Ave. is no more.

Crews completely tore it down over the weekend to make way for the construction of a 17-story, 250-unit apartment.

The sidewalks on the Norfolk and Fairmont Avenue sides of the property are closed.
