WASHINGTON — When some people run out of gas on the highway, they call AAA, a friend or maybe even police for help.
But one unidentified man decided that his time could be better spent by playing drums on the side of the road.
The Baltimore Sun reports that Maryland state police found the musician playing his kit on the shoulder of Interstate 695 between Windsor Mill Road and Security Boulevard Tuesday morning.
The man told officials he had run out of gas and decided to practice the drums until help arrived, the Sun reports. Eventually, a State Highway Administration truck refilled the drummer’s tank.
He was not cited, police say.
