On Saturday, May 4, more than 40 international embassies opened their doors to the
public to share their respective country's food, drink, art, music and customs.
From the chicken pate puffs at the Embassy of the Republic of Haiti, to the bowls
of noodles at the Embassy of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and
even the shots of rum at the Embassy of the Dominican Republic, participants
received a true taste of travel.
