WASHINGTON – A Virginia man has been arrested in Florida for allegedly killing his father in Arlington last October.

Mack Wood Jr., 47, originally said he found his father dead Oct. 13. But police say forensic evidence indicated that the elder Mack Wood did not die by accident his North Wakefield Street home.

Authorities tracked down Wood Jr. in Tampa. He is being charged with first-degree murder.

Two other men – Jean Pierre, 32, and Sapien Edmonds, 29, both of Henrico County, Va. – have also been charged with first-degree murder.
