Innovative pillow aims to help power nappers (VIDEO)

WASHINGTON – Most people dream of a good nap. And one design studio is dreaming of helping you dream … anytime, anywhere.

Architecture and design studio Kawamura-Ganjavian has started a Kickstarter fundraising campaign to aid in production of its innovative Ostrich Pillow – essentially a combination pillow/hat that lets would- be nappers kick back or plop down wherever they may be.

The pillow features holes for your head and hands, and “has been designed to allow you to create a little private space within a public one,” according to the Kickstarter site. With 21 days left to meet its goal as of Wednesday morning, the project had 895 backers and nearly $67,000 of its requested $70,000.

Check out the video below for more on the Ostrich Pillow. And be sure to read the important section of Frequently Asked Questions on the Kickstarter site, where you can find out whether you should wear the pillow “whilst having a bath” and if your head may be too big for the device.
