D.C. police looking for sexual assault suspect

WASHINGTON – A woman walking in Georgetown was allegedly assaulted Sunday morning, Metropolitan Police say.

The woman was walking in the 3200 block of Cherry Hill Lane in NW D.C. around 4:10 a.m. when she says a man walked up behind her and groped her. Then he ran away, according to a news release.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man with dark, straight shaggy hair standing 5-foot-9-inches to 6-feet tall with a slim build. The woman told police he had dark eyes and was wearing a black T-shirt and khaki shorts at the time.
