WASHINGTON – Call it this summer’s “I’m Sexy and I Know!”

Add the Marines to the long list of groups signing up to cover Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe.” Among the others: a corgi and Cookie Monster.

Photographer/videographer Eric Raum writes in his blog that he filmed the choreographed, lip-synched version of the summer hit while in Kandahar a few weeks ago.

He worked with a group of Marines to film the video, which also features members from other lines of service.

“I wanted to note here that this didn’t cost anything to make, was filmed on a lunch break, and had a great impact on the morale of not only the service members in the video, but those we’ve shared it with since,” Raum writes on his blog.
