Harper’s ‘clown question’ response turns fashionable

WASHINGTON – Just in time for Bryce Harper’s historic All-Star appearance, there’s a new T-shirt to help you channel your inner anti-clown.

The Washington Post reports the Harper-inspired clown shirts will be available on Under Armour’s website Tuesday and also will be sold at select retail locations.

The shirts say “Don’t be a clown bro,” a reference to the rookie’s response to a Canadian reporter’s question about having a beer.

In addition to the phrase on the front, Harper’s initials and number are on the back.

This isn’t the first time a retail product has used the “clown question” line. Last month, WTOP’s Neil Augenstein tasted Clown Question Bro beer, a Canadian lager from Denver.
