Sing in perfect harmony, even if you can’t (VIDEO)

WASHINGTON – It used to be singers had to sing well to be considered good. That was before technological slights of hand, such as “auto-tune.”

Now there’s a way to give singers perfect harmony while singing by themselves.

A vocal-processing box called VoiceLive Play costs $250 online, The New York Times reports.

Creating perfect harmony on the fly is just one of many tricks the box can accomplish. Another allows singers to pre-record portions of a song to loop under what they’re singing live.

A push pedal allows the singer to control when the special effect is active. VoiceLive Play provides great creative flexibility to singers with talent. It might also be fun for less artistically blessed folks who are just fooling around.
