Zipcar raises its prices in D.C.

Even with competitors Car2Go and Hertz’s On Demand recently coming to the area, Zipcar will raise its prices in D.C. starting this month, the Washington Examiner reported.

The car-sharing company raised its standard rates by 1.5 percent to 2.5 percent, depending on the car. Prices for individual accounts now range from $8 to $12 per hour on most cars.
