The 13 most useless college majors

WASHINGTON – College grads ready to hit the working world may find it more difficult landing a job with one of these 13 majors.

Newsweek has rated the top 13 most useless majors, based on earnings, growth projections and unemployment numbers from recent grads and experienced grads.

  2. Drama and Theater Arts
  3. Film, Video and Photographic Arts
  4. Commercial Art and Graphic Design
  5. Architecture
  6. Philosophy and Religious Studies
  7. English Literature and Language
  8. Journalism
  9. Anthropology and Archeology
  10. Hospitality Management
  11. Music
  12. History
  13. Political Science and Government

Architecture lists the highest unemployment rate of recent grads at 13.9 percent. With film, video and photographic arts not far behind at 12.9 percent unemployment among recent grads.
