This Tuesday and Wednesday, the Clara Barton Parkway is scheduled to be closed between the Chain Bridge and the exit to Glen Echo for tree and brush removal.
Both directions will be closed between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. both Tuesday and Wednesday.
The National Park Service is advising drivers to use the George Washington Parkway or MacArthur Boulevard as an alternate.
Hopefully, there won’t be too much of a delay, but it is possible that the Capital Beltway could back up near the American Legion Bridge. WTOP Traffic will keep you posted via Twitter and on-air.
