WASHINGTON – The deadlines for placing orders online and having them arrive on time with standard shipping costs are fast approaching.
Shoppers have until Dec. 19 to get their orders into Amazon, while Apple and Best Buy have their deadlines a day later.
Those who find themselves in a major bind can still order from most retailers by Dec. 21 or Dec. 22 and have their packages arrive by Christmas — as long as they’re willing to pay what could be a hefty shipping premium.
FreeShipping.org has a full list of retailers and their deadlines.
