Police identify woman killed in Montgomery County crash

WASHINGTON — Police have identified the woman killed in a crash on Darnestown Road in Montgomery County, Maryland, as Tiffany Nicole Bein, 23, of Clarksburg.

Police say alcohol use may have contributed to the collision that also threw a driver from his Trailblazer just after 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say Torray James Jr., 26, of Baltimore crossed the center line on a curve in the road as it headed toward Whites Ferry Road, struck an Accord, left the road and then struck a tree.

He suffered non-life-threatening injuries, while his two passengers — Bein, who died at Suburban Hospital, and John Gilbert Reyes, 23, of Germantown — were thrown from the SUV.

Reyes is in critical condition at the Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.

Three people in the Accord sustained minor injuries. They are identified as the driver, Janet Yeboah, 47, of Germantown; front seat passenger, Sylvester Yeboah, 31, of Germantown; and rear seat passenger, Drew Brown, 18.
