WASHINGTON — A man’s body was found at a Montgomery County park Saturday.
The body was discovered by deer hunters in a wooded area of Great Seneca Stream Valley Park in Gaithersburg, park police told WTOP.
NBC Washington reports that the body was buried in a shallow grave.
Montgomery County Police is investigating the death. Though the body was discovered Saturday, it wasn’t removed until Sunday in order for police to collect ample evidence, a Montgomery County police spokesman told WJLA.
The body has been sent to the chief medical examiner’s office in Baltimore for an autopsy.
