Update: Md. Amber Alert canceled; baby found safe

UPDATE 9:15 p.m. 1/27/2015: The police say that Deare Denny has turned himself in in Prince George’s County, and baby Drew is safe.

 

EARLIER: WASHINGTON — An Amber Alert has been issued for a child in Maryland.

Drew Marie Denny is 5 months old and was last seen wearing pajamas and had brown eyes and black curly hair.

Police say she was taken by force from her mother’s home by her father in the 19000 block of Hempstone Avenue in Poolesville, Maryland.

Drew’s father, Deare Denny,  left in a small black SUV with New Jersey plates reading D97DRW.  He is black, 26, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. He has tattoos, brown eyes and dreadlocks.
