WASHINGTON — UPDATE: 7 a.m. Saturday, Fairfax has cancelled the alert.
The Virginia State Police has issued a Senior Alert on behalf of the Fairfax County Police Department Saturday morning, looking for a man they say could be in personal danger.
Fairfax is looking for John O. Gauthier, 84, a white male, who is described as 5 feet 9 inches, 160 pounds, with brown eyes and gray hair. He was last seen wearing blue jean pants, white shirt, blue sweatshirt and plastic wrist bracelet.
The missing senior suffers from a cognitive impairment and the disappearance poses a credible threat to his health and safety.
