‘Sharknado 3’ puts Mark Cuban, Ann Coulter in White House

WASHINGTON — From “Shark Tank” to “Sharknado.”

Dallas Mavericks owner and “Shark Tank” star Mark Cuban has been cast as the president of the United States in “Sharknado 3,” the Syfy network announced Monday.

His vice president will be none other than conservative pundit Ann Coulter.

The third installment of the “guilty pleasure” franchise is set here in Washington, D.C.

The Hollywood Reporter reports Tara Reid and Ian Ziering will reprise their roles.

The cast will also include movie star Bo Derek as Reid’s mother, wrestler Chris Jericho as a roller-coaster ride operator, talk-show host Jerry Springer as a wild tourist, and ‘N SYNC alum Chris Kirkpatrick as a pool lifeguard.

Anthony C. Ferrante will return to direct.

“Sharknado 3” airs on Syfy in July.
