WASHINGTON — A woman is dead after she collapsed at the Lincoln Memorial Monday afternoon.
A 50-year-old woman collapsed at the memorial around 12:20 p.m.
Emergency crews transported her to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead, says Officer Sean Hickman with the Metropolitan Police Department.
The woman collapsed for an unknown reason, Hickman says. Her name has not yet been released.
