WASHINGTON — Congressional Cemetery is welcoming visitors for a haunted experience on its historic grounds.

The cemetery hosted the first of its four “Soul Strolls” over the weekend and WTOP was there. Click through to see images from the experiences.

The strolls will also be held Friday and Saturday, Oct. 23 and 24. between 6 and 9 p.m. (The cemetery is usually only open from dawn to dusk.)

The cemetery says the hour-long tours will leave every 20 minutes, and beer, wine and hot cider will be for sale. They add that you should wear comfortable shoes, bring a flashlight and be ready for uneven terrain — the tours don’t stick to the paths.

Tickets are $20 for adults, and children under 12 are $10. More information is here; tickets are available here.
