Police seek missing D.C. boy, 12

WASHINGTON — The Metropolitan Police Department is searching for a critically missing 12-year-old boy who was last seen Tuesday.

On Wednesday, police said they are searching for 12-year-old Demetrius Brown. He was last seen in the 100 block of Irvington Street in Southwest on Tuesday.

Brown is a black boy who is about 4 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs 100 pounds. He has dark brown eyes and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a green shirt and khaki pants with tan boots. He may be wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, police say. Also, he has a small stud earring in his left ear with a clear stone.
