This hospitality giant is hiring work-from-home reservationists

WASHINGTON — McLean-based Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc. plans to recruit 500 full- and part-time work-from-home positions for its reservations and customer support business.

Hilton says the positions are ideal for stay-at-home parents and retirees.

“We are committed to creating opportunities for meaningful employment and our work-from-home customer engagement model provides our team members with the freedom to enjoy a better work/life balance,” said Mike Gathright, senior vice president of reservations and customer care.

Hilton also says the jobs are a great opportunity for military spouses because they provide “transferable and portable” careers.

Hilton (NYSE: HLT) has also set a goal of hiring 10,000 military veterans by 2018.

Hilton has more than 4,350 hotels in 94 countries and about 157,000 employees.
