CSC moving headquarters to Tysons Corner

WASHINGTON — Computer Sciences Corp., an information technology contractor based in Falls Church, will move its headquarters to a newly constructed building in Tysons Corner.

Lerner Enterprises has signed CSC to a lease at 1775 Tysons Boulevard in the Corporate Office Centre at Tysons II. CSC will occupy about 62,000 square feet on two floors and is expected to make the move later this spring.

CSC, which spun off its public sector business and merged it with SRA International Inc. last year, has thousands of employees in the Washington area.

The relocation will affect several hundred employees.

It is the second tenant win at 1775 Tysons Boulevard for Lerner, which signed EY (formerly Ernst & Young) to a 125,000-square-foot headquarters lease last year. EY will begin building out its new space later this year.

1775 Tysons Boulevard is a 476,000-square foot, 17-story Class A office building currently under construction. It is designed with a goal of LEED Platinum certification, the first office building in Tysons to achieve the Green Building Council’s top designation.

“We are extremely pleased that CSC chose 1775 Tysons Boulevard and the Corporate Office Centre at Tysons II for its new headquarters, underscoring their commitment to sustainability and a health work environment, as well as providing employees and their guests with the abundance of amenities within Tysons II,” said Mark Lerner, a principal at Lerner Enterprises.

The building will be amenity rich, with its own restaurants, fitness center conference center and indoor and outdoor public spaces.
