ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) — Three men have been charged with assault by mob and other counts after police say an Uber driver was hit in the head with a beer bottle by one of his passengers.

Arlington Police said Monday that 26-year-old Justin Norconk of Woodbridge was charged with malicious wounding and assault by mob. Twenty-five-year-old Lance Ingram of Woodbridge was charged with assault by mob and 26-year-old Jeffery Eugene Rowe Jr. of Woodbridge was charged with destruction of property. All three are being held without bond.

Police say a window in the Uber driver’s car was also smashed during the Saturday night attack.

WRC-TV in Washington reports that the driver was assaulted after he stopped his vehicle and asked a group of six passengers in his vehicle to stop drinking beer.
