WASHINGTON — The all-clear has been given in Alexandria, Virginia after a bomb threat at the Hoffman building.
The building on Stovall Street had been evacuated as police investigated a bomb threat.
During the threat, workers were sheltered at the nearby AMC theater, according to the Alexandria Fire Department.
Roadways around the Hoffman Town Center, including Eisenhower Avenue, Stovall Street and Mill Road, were closed during the incident, which began around 9:40 a.m.
The all-clear at the 12-story building was given just after 11 a.m.

Metro says the Eisenhower Avenue station was not impacted. The tracks that run along the buildings were not affected.
