No. 1 Black Dahlia
On the market with an asking price of almost $4.9 million, this was once the home of Dr. George Hodel, who was rumored to be involved in the killing and dismemberment of Elizabeth Short. The home also served as the backdrop for more recent Hollywood dramas including the TV shows "Ghost Hunters" and "Paranormal America," according to

. The home features walls of vegetation and a pool with center patio.
No. 2 Colorado Ghost Town
This old train depot is part of an abandoned Colorado town called Uptop. For $2 million you can own the town, which includes a dance hall, saloon, chapel and a log cabin and sits on 250 acres. Two sisters from Boston bought the town in 2000 and have since renovated the remaining structures, according to

No. 3 Bran Castle
Welcome to Bran Castle. Situated in the mountains of Romania, aka Transylvania, the home receives more than a half million visitors a year. Vlad the Impaler, who is believed to have inspired the story of Dracula, lived nearby and is believed to have been a guest of Bran Castle's dungeons. The home is selling for $78 million. The sellers hope to expand the major tourist attraction's appeal, according to

No. 4 The Friendly Ghost
Rumor has it that the Los Angeles home of Ozzie and Harriet Nelson is haunted. The home was also used to provide exterior shots for the TV show "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet." Supposedly the ghost of Ozzie Nelson was seen after his death in 1975 wearing a cardigan. Subsequent owners reported doors that opened and closed on their own and light bulbs and faucets that turned on and off on their own. Built in 1916, the 5,813-square-foot home is selling for $5.25 million, according to

No. 5 Schweppe Mansion
Once known as Mayflower Place, this English Renaissance mansion was a wedding gift to the daughter of the chairman of Marshall Field & Co. The asking price is $12 million for the recently renovated and restored home, which features 10 bedrooms, 16 bathrooms, 11 fireplaces, a library and 400 feet of Lake Michigan beachfront. The bride died in 1937, leaving her bereaved husband a fraction of her fortune. He killed himself a few years later leaving this nebulous note "I've been awake all night. It's terrible." Rumor has it that both the ghosts of Laura Shedd and her husband Charles Schweppe still roam the home along with their servants, according to

.
No. 6 Verulam Estate
Australia's Verulam estate is often mistaken as the exterior of the Addams' Family home from the wacky TV show of the same name. The Federation Queen Anne style home features leaded windows and marble fireplaces along with five bedrooms, two baths and stables. This home was snapped up at auction for more than $3 million, according to

No. 8 Lynnewood Hall
Lynnewood Hall has captured the attention of paranormal enthusiasts for years, perhaps because of ghouls that haunt the mansion built in 1900. The home features 110 rooms on 33 acres and is selling for $20 million but it could take an estimated $50 million to fully restore it after years of neglect, according to

.
No. 9 The Most Haunted Place on Earth
The island of Poveglia, outside of Venice, is considered by locals and paranormal experts to be the most haunted place on Earth. It served as as a quarantine facility for those suffering from the black plague and those who died were typically cremated. Later, an insane asylum was built on the island and the patients were subjected to cruel experiments. An Italian businessman bought it for less than $1 million but he could spend millions more to make it suitable for tourists, according to
