Take A Ride In A Blimp Above Bethesda – The PGA Tour stop this week at Congressional Country Club means two MetLife blimps overhead providing TV views of the action. The Washington Post went up in the blimp to take a look at what Congressional looks like from way above. [Washington Post]

Heritage Montgomery Heritage Days – The Josiah Henson House and C&O Canal are among the local sites hosting Heritage Days events this weekend. [Heritage Montgomery]

Study: Almost 80 Percent of Americans Don’t Take Transit – A Pew Research Center study found that 78 percent of Americans say they never use public transit in a typical month. 11 percent said they use it at least once a month while 10 percent said they use it once or twice a month. District 5 Council Seat Undecided – Trailing Tom Hucker by just 206 votes, District 5 Council candidate Evan Glass will wait for the counting of provisional and absentee ballots before conceding. Even with those ballots, it seems likely Glass will fall just short against Hucker, a member of the House of Delegates. [State Board of Elections]
