Snyder, Lloyd lift SE Missouri over UTM 31-27

MARTIN, Tenn. (AP) — Kyle Snyder threw two touchdown passes to Peter Lloyd, including what proved to be the game-winner with 9:04 remaining, as Southeast Missouri beat UT-Martin 31-27 on Saturday night.

Snyder’s 28-yard touchdown pass to Lloyd completed an eight-play, 56-yard drive and sent the Redhawks (3-2, 1-0) home with a victory in their Ohio Valley Conference opener. Lloyd had career highs with 10 catches for 179 yards. Snyder was 19 of 30 for 269 yards with an interception and also had two 1-yard scoring runs in the second quarter.

Jarod Neal completed 20 of 37 passes for 350 yards and three touchdowns for the Skyhawks (1-4, 0-2). Rod Wright had one of those touchdown catches as one of his six receptions for 161 yards.

There were five lead changes in the game that UTM hold a 514-394 edge in total yards.
