Matt Damon to go back to ‘Bourne’

WASHINGTON –According to his best pal, Matt Damon has confirmed he’ll once
again play Jason Bourne in a new 2016 film.

Damon pal Ben Affleck revealed the news during a red carpet interview with E!
Friday, and Damon “quickly confirmed,” according to The Hollywood Reporter on Saturday.

Damon reiterated that the only thing he was waiting for before getting on
board was word that Paul Greengrass would direct. That deal,
apparently, has been sealed.

“Paul Greengrass is going to do another one and that’s all I ever said. I just
needed
him to say yes,” Damon told E!

Greengrass directed the second and third movies in the trilogy with Damon —
The
Bourne Supremacy (2004), and The Bourne Ultimatum (2007). Jeremy Renner
starred
in the fourth film, The Bourne Legacy, in 2012.
