FRIDAY EVENING: Cloudy, showers develop
Temperatures: 60s
Winds: East 5-15 mph
Plan for a cloudy evening with temperatures in the 60s. Showers will begin to develop from west to east, but most of the metro area will stay dry early.
FRIDAY NIGHT: Scattered showers
Lows: 50s
Winds: East 5-10 mph
Cloudy and cooler weather is expected overnight with scattered showers developing.
SATURDAY: Scattered showers, damp
Highs: 55-62
Winds: East 5-10 mph
Scattered showers will make for a damp and somewhat dreary day across the DMV. While not a total wash-out, outdoor plans will most likely have to be brought inside. Temperatures stay mainly in the 50s.
SUNDAY: Areas of rain, thunder possible
Highs: 72-77
Winds: Southeast 5-10 mph
It will be another overcast day, but high temperatures should reach the upper 60s and lower to middle 70s. Rain is likely and it may become heavy at times along with the risk of thunderstorms.
NEXT WEEK: The first full week of May will be unsettled with daily rain chances. High temperatures will be warmer than average with highs in the upper 70s early in the week and then warming into the 80s starting Wednesday. You will notice higher humidity next week, which will lead to higher feels-like temperatures.
