An apparent electrical issue in the basement of the Bethesda Country Day School has led to that school being evacuated and a large fire department response on Thursday morning.
According to MCFRS Pete Piringer, the problem happened in the school’s boiler room, where the smoke has been isolated.
The MCFRS response has led to traffic issues on Beech Avenue, near the YMCA in Bethesda. The schools is located at 5615 Beech Ave.
