Another burger place is coming to the area, this one from Food Wine & Co. co-owner Francis Namin.
City Burgers is set for the former space of a custom picture frame store at 7105 Wisconsin Ave. in Chevy Chase, just down the street from Namin’s well regarded Food Wine & Co. restaurant (7272 Wisconsin Ave.) and on the same block as Namin and partner Carlos Ramirez’s Beer, Wine & Co. (7029 Wisconsin Ave.).
Blogger Robert Dyer first reported on the building permit, which the county opened Friday. Namin couldn’t be reached for comment on Monday morning.
The 1,050-square-foot space will join Smashburger (4901 Cordell Ave.) and Bobby’s Burger Palace at Westfield Montgomery Mall as two new burger concepts for Bethesda.
But expect a different, perhaps more upscale variation from Namin and Co., the team that just opened up a fish taco joint in Cabin John.
Look for more when we hear it.
