Gansler Pictured At Beach House Party With Underage Drinking — In yet another embarrassing revelation for the Democratic gubernatorial candidate, The Baltimore Sun on Wednesday published a photo of Doug Gansler walking through a June Bethany Beach house party in which underage drinking was taking place. Gansler was one of a group of parents who paid for the “Senior Week” stay at the beach house after his son graduated from the Landon School. In the story, Gansler maintains that it wouldn’t have been his responsibility to break up the party. [The Baltimore Sun]

Washingtonian: Better Music Acts Key To Late Night Success — In this recap of the Night Time Economy Task Force report is the suggestion that Montgomery County needs better music acts to really attract younger patrons. Concerts, Farm Market, Food At Piketoberfest — Rockville-based developer Federal Realty is kicking off its “RePikealization” marketing campaign with a festival-like event on Saturday at the future Pike & Rose (11810 Rockville Pike). The event will include music from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the regular weekly Central Farm Market and food and wine tastings from the company bringing Stella Barra Pizza and M Street Bar & Kitchen to the development. There will also be a truck touch for the kids and a photo booth, pumpkin decorating and more. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. [Piketoberfest via Facebook]

‘Home For The Holidays’ Fundraiser — Urban Country (7117 Arlington Rd.) will host a silent auction fundraiser for The Combat Soldiers Recovery Fund from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30. The upscale furniture and accessory store is at the corner of Arlington Road and Bethesda Avenue.
