All lanes of southbound I-95 have reopened

UPDATE – Thursday – 6/20/2013, 11:15am ET – All lanes have reopened.

UPDATE – Thursday – 6/20/2013, 10:20am ET – Three right lanes are now open. One lane remains blocked.

UPDATE – Thursday – 6/20/2013, 9:31am ET – Right lane of southbound I-5 reopens.

WASHINGTON – All lanes of southbound Interstate 95 leaving Baltimore County are closed at Exit 49 because of a crash involving two tractor-trailers.

The crash is just before the Baltimore Beltway and is affecting traffic into Howard County.

Traffic is being diverted off I-95 at Caton Avenue. Traffic stuck behind the crash is being turned around traffic on the median.

Northbound lanes of I-95 that had been blocked have reopened.

The crash occurred just before 4:30 a.m.
