In addition to the home burglaries, there have been several incidents of car theft in the same neighborhoods. Many of the homes and cars robbed were unlocked at the time, according to officials.

Police have released photos of a suspect wanted in a May 23 robbery.

Officials say two men broke into a car, which was parked in the victim’s driveway, around 4 a.m. in the 18000 block of Wheatfield Drive. After removing several items from the car, one of the men tried to break into the victim’s home.

The suspect was caught on a surveillance camera.

Officials believe he has been involved in at least some of the other burglaries in Germantown. Anyone with information should contact authorities at 240-773-6237.
