Floyd County man, son sentenced in child porn case

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — A Floyd County man and his son have been sentenced on child pornography charges.

Sixty-one-year Greg Clabaugh received a three-year sentence Tuesday after pleading guilty to two counts of reproduction of child pornography.

His son, 31-year-old Mark Clabaugh, pleaded guilty to the same charges and received a two-year sentence. Another eight years in prison were suspended.

Virginia Attorney General Mark R. Herring announced the sentences in a news release.

Herring’s office says the charges stemmed from an investigation by Christiansburg police. Detectives discovered Greg Clabaugh sharing child pornography images over a peer-to-peer network.

More than 600 child pornography images and videos were found on a computer, CDs and thumb drives in the defendants’ house.
